Verlon got several things checked off the Home Maintenance list today including putting a coat of seal on the Deck. It is drying to just exactly the color we were looking for. He did some neat patching on the kitchen floor, trimmed more shrubbery, other small jobs, and is mowing the lawn as I write this. We did take a late afternoon break and got down to the Bottle Rocket Brewery. They are in the process of a major renovation project including a sizable addition. Verlon enjoyed his visit with Gerald Homp, one of the Brewery partners. I have never been a big beer drinker but had one of their Blueberry beers and really enjoyed it. I have been working on a case of Coors that is left over from last summer.
Carolyn and Ben stopped by this evening and we talked about our Garage Sale coming up this week-end among other things. I have been taking pictures of some of the items we will have at the sale and putting them on Facebook and Seward Swap. Verlon and I stopped by the Seward Farmers Market on the Courthouse square as we came home from the Brewery. He always enjoys the "homemade" kolachies and also got some other rolls. He will fly back home to Richmond, VA, tomorrow. We always enjoy our visit and especially appreciate all the Home Maintenance work that he is able to get done in a few days.
