The John and Julie Owens family came to visit us this afternoon after having been to an event at the Chapters Book Store. They brought along a copy of a Book written by Karen Duncan, autographed for Sadie and Jack; and illustrated by Joseph Broghammer. The story is about a little gray dog rescued from the streets of El Tajin, Mexico. Jack always enjoys himself at such events and is never hesitant to ask questions or make comments. Sadie  is much more reserved and just listens. All the little kids at the event were invited to set "down-front" which was right down Jacks "alley" while Sadie was happy to stay back with her Dad. Jack remembered seeing me in the hospital with an Oxygen tool in my nose and wanted me to explain how it worked and why. It will be interesting to see if and how he may change, but his pre-school experience only adds to his curiosity and questions.
