Carolyn and Ben hosted a Soup and Pie dinner this evening with Tim and Tony here visiting. John, Julie, Sadie and Jack were included as were Elaine and I. It was the first meal in their new house for several of us which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Carolyn had made Chocolate and Coconut Cream pies for dessert which went over real well. Several guests, including Jack, had some of each pie. Tim and Tony spent much of the afternoon with us in our apartment. We watched a lot of basketball but also visited and looked through old Baseball and other
albums. We took advantage of Tim and Tony carrying some empty boxes from our west room to the garage as we went out to check on our car. It hadn't been driven for about 6-weeks but kicked right off. Tony and Tim will drive it while they are here. We have a busy week ahead with Tony having to fly back to Raleigh, NC on Monday and Tim flying back to Columbus, IN on Thursday. That time will fly by too fast but we sure appreciate their visit.
