Nebraska Basketball
Nebraska's men basketball team is playing at Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, Texas, tonight in the second round of the NIT. The Cornhuskers are putting up a battle against a higher-seeded team on the road. As long as NU wins games and keeps playing, head coach Tim Miles (at right) will have a job. If and when they lose, he'll likely lose his job the next day. The team has been decimated by injuries and dresses only seven players (including one walk-on), but managed to win two games in the Big Ten tournament and won its first game in the NIT. He and his players know what's going to happen as soon as they lose, and they've played some very inspired basketball. It's 40-32 TCU at the half.
