Nebraska Veterans in Washington, D.C.

The Seward County Independent has provided excellent coverage today as 650 Vietnam Veterans from Nebraska were on Honor Flights to Washington, D.C. They visited "The Wall", Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery, the WWII Memorial and many other points of interest. This event is similar to Honor Flights of a few years ago where WWII & Korean Veterans were honored.
A Major Event is planned for this evening as the Flights return to Lincoln where the Veterans will receive a "Welcome Home Reception" that they never received coming back from Vietnam.
