Reunion in Old Neighborhood

It was nearly 10 years ago that we celebrated our Wedding Anniversary  with our kids, spouses and grandchildren back in the Washington, DC area. I came across these pictures of that trip which are stored on our Lexar 8GB Flash Drive along with many others. I continue to edit the 6 FD's and add  more on them from this laptop as well as the HP computer.
We were in a weather alert today with schools closed as were medical appointments. The Doctors were scheduled to come out from Lincoln and the roads were dangerous with ice. We didn't get any snow until mid afternoon but with wind gusts over 30mph, it was not a good day to be outside.
Here are our 5 Grandchildren who helped us celebrate in the DC area. It was a great trip that included visiting our old house where the kids spent 11 years of their childhood.  We got to see Jon's office in the USDA complex, their home out in the Burke neighborhood, and even the fireworks on the Mall the night of the 4th. It was the first season for the Nationals playing in their new baseball Park where we enjoyed a game. We did quite a bit of walking during the short stay and I remember of it being the first time that I felt a shortness of breath as we walked back to our Hotel from down on 23rd St. where we ate and this picture was taken. It was a good family reunion back in our old neighborhood.
