Duke got beat 95-91 by Syracuse at Cameron in overtime so instead of writing about that, I decided to write about our Great Grandchildren. Sadie is in 1st grade and being exposed to the Spanish Language. She demonstrated how she could count to 10 in Spanish and proceded to demonstrate her newly learned knowledge. She clearly went through uno, dos, tres, cuatro, troh, cinco, seis, siere, ocho, nueve, diez while little broth Jack listened. Her Mother asked her which number she liked best and she promptly said "seis". Jack spoke up and said he liked "cuatro" best. When asked why, he said: "because I'm 4 years old". His mother was quite surprised as was Sadie. She and Jack get along very well and we have no idea how much Spanish discussion they may have had earlier. Her being 6 may have had something to do with that being her favorite number. I hope they help each other through school as much as my older sister helped me.
