Tim Javorsky entertained this afternoon at the Brookdale Facility here in Seward, NE. He played Saxophone (3 of them) and sang songs of the Season for a solid hour. He is a very good musician and his voice is of the Bee-Bob order which makes for interesting entertainment. He is from Lincoln and travels throughout Nebraska with as many as 3-gigs/day. He has an electronic accompaniment which provides background for his singing and rhythm for his music. It is all scripted and programed to where he goes from on song directly to the next. I didn't realize that there were as many seasonal songs as what he sang. Of course there were several that I had never heard before. "When the Reindeer ran over Grandma" was one of them. But with all respects he included many of the old favorites. Elaine and I both enjoyed it and look forward to seeing him back before too long.
