Spending a wonderful evening with Mom and Dad. Started out interesting. I surprised them while they were enjoying the Ki-Tones.
We reconvened in their apartment and have been swapping family stories and tales ever since. Also a good time looking at photographs that Dad has scanned and learning who everyone is.
My journey to track my Irish ancestry continues and it is always a pleasure to talk genealogy with my Mom. The trials and tribulations that our emigrants went through to make it across the ocean and then establish themselves in America fascinates me. Everyday I learn something new about what they had to go through.
