The funeral of President George H. W. Bush has been outstanding and will continue to be down at College Station, TX. There have been many notable comments made during the past couple days. I believe that the Eulogy given by Jon Meacham, the President's biographer, was tops. I listened to it again this evening and felt that every word was perfect. Meacham obviously knew the details of Bush's life and had the professional ability to choose just the right words for his message. I understand that Meacham read it to H.W. some time ago and it's no wonder that #41 responded by saying, "That's a lot about me". The selection of each subject and every word was chosen for a purpose. It is admirable for someone to provide an example that is so different than what President Trump does in his tweets. I can only hope that our current President learned some things today from Meacham and others. The TV coverage was excellent today and will become a historic memory for millions of people around the world. The front row of past Presidents and Trumps was impressive.
