The Pandemic Continues

We had no idea of how happy we were back in the days before the Pandemic Coronavirus hit the World. Albert and Flora Flowerrday (Elaine's Parents) were so proud of our family, big house and our doing well. This was in the spring of 1956 after Jon had been born the previous November 22. Carolyn had already began the process of adapting to having 3 brothers.
The Coronavirus continues to expand at an increasing rate. I noted from morning news that the US count of confirmed cases was 153,105 with 2,805 deaths. By 3:50 the number of cases was confirmed at 158,400 with 2,917 deaths. The evening news had numbers of over 160,000 cases and over 2,900 deaths. Globally we have had 775,500 cases with 36,900 deaths. Nebraska's number of 143 cases is the latest I have with 8 deaths. One of those cases was York County's first. None have been reported for Seward County. We are continuing our Quarantine but were able to get our Income Tax information passed on to DeNeise at our front door with a staff person making the exchange.
