This picture was taken after Duke won the 2005 NAIA basketball championship. The network channels are showing some of the old sports classics in these days of quartile. I had to leave the Duke-Kentucky final 1992 game to go to supper this evening. It was right at the end of the game with the score tied and time running out. Christian Lattner was on the floor. I don't know if this was the game that he "won" with his game ending shot but it may have been. I'm sure son Tim would know. There was considerable coverage of both Coaches and staff. Coach K looked almost like a teenager.
Carolyn helped our "stay at home" today by picking up our pills and pillboxes at the from door and bringing them back a few minutes later and Jim delivered them to our door. Hopefully we can keep our need to involve her can be kept at a minimum but her care is certainly appreciated.
