We met "Tommy" yesterday as we met at the Assisted Living exit area yesterday for our ride to Goehner. He welcomes people as they sit in the chairs near the lamp table where he resides. We were only there a few minutes so don't know what all he can do but did see him reach out to shake hands (But he may have had some help). The next time Sadie and Jack get up here we will have to take them over to see just what all he can do. We are scheduled for a ride out to see the several hundred flags displayed at the Seward North Cemetery tomorrow morning. We may have an opportunity to get better acquainted with him at that time. We enjoyed the Rev. James Keck's sermon on the Pentecost this morning on TV from First Plymouth Church. We have a short service here in Brookdale every Sunday afternoon and attend when we know the presenter. This afternoon the Indianapolis 500 took precedence which I was able to watch as I worked on compiling family history on to a DVD.
