Paul Siebert provided the musical entertainment and stores at the May Birthday Party this afternoon at Brookdale. He is very talented and has an excellent voice. He brings with him and plays a Banjo, Ukulele, Hammer Dulcimer, Accordion and Guitar. He always has stories to tell about the songs he plays and sings. I was able to get back to hear him after taking Elaine to the Dentist for some major work. It involved removing a crown, filling a cavity in the stub and replacing the crown. It wasn't an easy appointment. Meanwhile, I was able to visit with Becky at the Library about some information we found in the Title to Carolyn's house, do a few other chores. Then I got back up to hear Siebert for about a half hour. I slipped away as Roseellen began the recognition of the birthdays and picked up Elaine. We got back up here to hear Siebert finish his program. I had an opportunity to explain to him of my leaving earlier since I was setting in the front row. Also learned from him of his long standing interest in music and that he got a degree in Structural Engineering since he questioned trying a career in music. However, since he retired from his engineering position, he has kept a very full schedule of doing programs and providing entertainment at numerous places. He lives in Lincoln and works over southeastern Nebraska.
