Elaine received this beautiful bouquet of flowers from Tim's today for Mother's Day. It had been delivered by a local florist when we got home from Elaine's Beauty Shop appointment. This bouquet of flowers adds to the big pot of geraniums that Carolyn brought up the other day. After a long dry winter, we really appreciate flowers. We got over to the Hospital to visit Ruth and Charlie Jaudon this evening. Yesterday was Ruth's 90th birthday. She and Charlie are in the extended care section. Elaine had a card for Ruth signed by many of the staff and residents here at Brookdale. They lived here for a couple years before going to the Hospital so they have many friends here. We had a real nice visit with the two of them tonight in the Dining area of the extended care section. The staff even brought in drinks and snacks for us to have as we visited. Charlie and I talked about our Golf playing days and wondered if we hadn't stopped playing if we would be in better shape.
