Christmas Festival in Seward

Another very nice day in Seward, NE for all the Christmas Festival Events which began at 8:00am and continued throughout the day. It included Lego contest, Quilt Exhibit, Fruitcake Toss, Reindeer Games, Live Reindeer, Santa's arrival downtown, Model Trains, Crossmakers, Homesteader Display, Chili Cookoff, Sing along, Beard contest, Horse and
wagon rides, Ugly Sweater contest, Story time with Santa, Tree Lighting, Honor Choir, and at 5:30pm, the Lighted Christmas Parade. There were many people down town when Elaine went to the Beauty Shop at 9:30. We were served an early supper up here to be able to get down to the house ahead of the parade. It was necessary with it going right in front of our house. We met Carolyn and visited in our living room after the Parade. On our way back up to our unit, we discussed the possibility of this being our last Lighted Christmas Parade to enjoy. Easier to stay home.
