It was on this day, January 21, 1937 that siblings Janice and Jerry were born. I visited with Janice a few minutes ago and she is having a very Happy Birthday. Temperatures are in the 60's at their home out in Merced, CA. Jerry is celebrating his birthday with Brother Don and other family members and friends who have gone on ahead. Janice's good friend Betty and I had a birthday conversation about her out in the hall earlier today. I don't have any idea of how many times I may have written the story of their birth and of this picture. They are dressed in blue material that Mother had sewn into the outfits for appearing at the Better Baby Contest at the Nebraska State Fair. No, they didn't win any Blue Ribbons but have always been our Pride and Joy.
