Here is what our table looks like in the Indipendent Living Dining room here at Brookdale. Marv and Bill have joinee Elaine and I. We eat breakfast in our apt. where we can read the papers in our pj's and get up whenever we wish. Marv is an old friend who we have known for several years through Kiwanis. Bill is new to us during the past year as he moved here from Phonex, AZ. He is the father of Kurt, a well known local Choral Director at Concordia University. Bill grew-up in the Hastings area, attended the UN-L and worked his career for General Motors as a structural engineer in the Chevorlet Division. Marv was a Regional Cargill Hybrid Corn salesment and traveled extensively during his career. He continues to be very active in the Kiwanis Club and to provide leadership to our Seward Flag Display and the marketing of flags. We enjoy their companionship but frequently eat alone at Sunday Dinner when they are involved with Church activity.
