Julie was doing real well on the stilts I made for her when she was 10 years old. This picture was taken in November of 1990 in our garage at Seward. This was during the time we were working in Ankey, IA, for the Soil and Water Conservation Society. We went over to the job in September of 1989 and worked till the end of 1991. While it gave us an opportunity to renew relationships with many old friends in the SCS; it also took us out of town during my parents last days on earth. Dad died in December of 1989 and Mother in December of 1990. We did what we thought best at the time but in retrospect, I wonder why we left Seward at that time.
