Nebraska Weather and Baseball

Just a few minutes ago our Seattle-Kansas City baseball game was interrupted with a warning of heavy rains and high winds in part of the area of South eastern Nebraska colored in orange. This is not the area forecast earlier as the most vulnerable but has moved up in a low pressure area. We really don't know what to expect here in Seward but can anticipate some overnight rain and wind. It appears that the heaviest snow is moving up into South Dakota.  Whit Merrifield just failed for the 3rd time tonight in his attempt to break George Brett's Kansas City record of consecutive games with a base hit. Joe DiMaggio has the Major League record of 56.
