This was taken out in Seward during the summer of 1974 as we celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary. June had been a busy month. Jon and I had been down to Warsaw, VA where he was working as a Soil Scientist trainee, Carolyn was back at the Pentagon for her summer job. Tim had gotten "beat up" playing playground basketball in Louisville, KY where he was stationed with Social Security Adm. Verlon met us in Chicago while flying out to Seward. He was doing carpenter work up on Cape Cod. We enjoyed visiting while staying with our folks and family. We went out to Branched Oak Lake where some of the kids tried to water ski. We adults went to The Flying V Dance Hall in Utica where the Paul Morehead Orchestra played. It was a short but good trip.
