The "Just Us" group performed at Brookdale this afternoon in the IL Dining room. As usual they did a great job playing their electric guitars and supporting the lead singer in his renditions of Country Music Hero's. The tall fellow at the right also played his banjo on a few numbers that was outstanding. The lead singer (center) has an excellent baritone voice and sang nearly non-stop for 45 minutes without a break in his voice. Carolyn had taken Elaine to the Beauty shop where she had a hair-cut and set. They did some other business downtown before picking up Jack from school and being here in the apt when I got home from the entertainment. It's always a pleasure to have Jack here playing with his red trucks and tractors on the living room floor. Jack seems to get much more enjoyment playing with his trucks, etc. on the floor than the pleasure I got from them when they were my Models on the shelf.
