Seward Brookdale Director Terry brought these members of her top staff together this morning to visit with 17 of us "Independent Living" residents. It included: (L-R) Jim, Carla, Jackie, Terry, and Rosellen. First, Terry and the Staff people gave a summary of their experience and history with Brookdale. There were a few questions from the residents and also compliments of staff members. It was very apparent that a high priority of Brookdale is to be helpful to all residents and try to make them happy. There were a few suggestions made which might even further that process. I finished reading "Bottom of the 33rd" this morning and my level of interest increased as I moved through the 400+ pages. Lincoln set a new high temperature reading for this date of 93 degrees. The old record of 92 was set back in 1944.
