Jack got over to visit this afternoon when Carolyn came. She was concerned about the amount of water that is running through their yard with the heavy rains recently. We got about 1, 1/2" last night and 2:00" the night before. Rain is forecast for again tonight. This little Red VW is one of Jack's favorites from among those that he has parked out of the way in our living room. We were able to get the travel plans for the three boys and families who will be coming next week to help celebrate our 70th wedding anniversary on the 5th of June. It will be a low-key event with primarily immediate family involved. We are hoping for many extended family members and friends will stop by during the summer to visit. Elaine had a full day and is feeling much better after her side effects of what appears to be from new medication. Her appointment with Dr. Summa for today has been rescheduled to next Monday. Tom Tyrrell, Elaine's cousin Kathy's husband from Alabama and their son Scott from Lincoln came out to visit about noon. They also enjoyed getting to see many old friends from the Beaver Crossing area in the Dining room over Dinner.
