A Black Crow

Some of you may not be aware of the relationship between "The Crow's Nest" and my family name of Vrana. It is a Czech name and is what a Crow is called in the Czech language. Our daughter found this "bird" at Liberty house here in Seward this morning.
 Today's paper carried an ad of General Motors planning to market a small Buick this fall called a "Verano". It would be interesting to know the background of the name.
